A state of high alert is planned for School No. 153 in the Dzerzhinsky district of Novosibirsk due to the threat of a potential collapse of structural elements. The draft resolution, published on the municipal website, cites concerns over reinforced concrete cornice slabs, brick cornices, and moldings.

The document instructs the Department of Education to restrict access to dangerous areas and organize repair work. The Dzerzhinsky district administration is tasked with informing residents about the high alert status and preventative measures being taken.

While a deputy director at School No. 153 stated that there is no immediate threat of collapse, she confirmed that the school is following recommendations from the mayor’s office. The mayor’s office was contacted for comment.

The high alert declaration follows a similar measure implemented near the “Chistaya Sloboda” stop on Titov Street.
