A state of high alert has been declared near the “Chistaya Sloboda” bus stop on Titova Street in Novosibirsk due to the threat of road subsidence. The decision was made to facilitate a rapid response and prevent potential emergencies in the area.
Authorities are currently inspecting and monitoring the road’s condition and implementing measures to reinforce the surface. The goal is to avert emergencies and maintain safe, uninterrupted traffic flow.
The Leninsky district administration has requested public understanding regarding potential temporary disruptions and urged caution when driving through the affected area. The administration assures residents that efforts are underway to quickly normalize the situation.
A draft resolution concerning the high alert was published in late May, tasking MUK “Gormost” with inspecting a storm sewer pipeline near the bus stop. The inspection aims to identify and address the causes of the road subsidence.
Planned works include developing a technical solution to eliminate the road subsidence and repairing the storm sewer pipeline to prevent further damage.
