A soccer field in Balashikha, Moscow region, has been transformed into a bizarre hexagonal shape following work conducted by Vodokanal, the local water utility company. The unusual sports ground is located on Rechnaya Street in the Kuchino microdistrict.

Local residents have expressed their dismay at the altered field. The strange shape appeared after Vodokanal completed some work in the area but failed to restore the field to its original condition.

According to Ksenia, a local resident, residents have contacted both Vodokanal and the city administration regarding the issue, but no immediate action has been taken. She stated that she left the area for three weeks and upon her return, she was shocked to see the field’s new shape.

The city administration is reportedly aware of the issue. A representative of the administration stated that restoration work is scheduled to be completed by June 30, 2025. The representative also apologized for any inconvenience caused.

Users online have joked about the unusual field, suggesting it could be used for a new sport.
