A Mi-8T helicopter, operated by JSC “Aviapredpriyatie “Yeltsovka,” made a forced landing in the Parabelsky district of the Tomsk region around 8:30 a.m. local time due to a technical issue.

The West Siberian Transport Prosecutor’s Office reported the incident, stating that no one was injured.

There were 17 passengers and 3 crew members on board the aircraft. The Novosibirsk Transport Prosecutor’s Office will conduct an inspection regarding flight safety regulations.

JSC “Aviapredpriyatie “Yeltsovka,” registered in Novosibirsk in 2009, is involved in air freight transportation, air passenger transportation, and aircraft maintenance. In 2024, the company’s revenue was 4.3 billion rubles, with a profit of 264 million rubles.

A request for comment has been sent to JSC “Aviapredpriyatie “Yeltsovka.”

Previously, an An-2 aircraft experienced a runway excursion in Tomsk; three individuals were on board that aircraft.
