Novosibirsk was hit by a sudden downpour on June 3rd, turning roads and sidewalks into obstacle courses. The thunderstorm struck the city around 3:00 PM, catching many residents off guard.

The heavy rainfall quickly created deep puddles and “rivers” on city streets, significantly reducing visibility for drivers.

According to Yandex.Weather service forecasts, the rain is expected to subside around 5:00 PM.

The storm included hail along with the heavy rain. Despite the difficult conditions, some residents were seen navigating the flooded streets with umbrellas, while others embraced the weather. The NGS.RU Telegram channel is providing updates on the situation in Novosibirsk and the country.
