The wear and tear of heating networks in Novosibirsk has reached approximately 72% between 2021 and 2024, posing a significant challenge for the city’s heat power industry. The Department of Housing and Energy of the Mayor’s Office stated that the most significant issue is the deterioration of heating networks.
The wear and tear percentage will be updated after the completion of the 2025 off-season repair program. According to the press service of the Department of Energy, Housing and Communal Services, the assessment will occur upon completion of the heating network facilities repair program.
The condition varies across different types of networks. Specifically, the wear and tear on SGK heating networks is around 53%, while municipal and ownerless networks face higher levels of deterioration, ranging from 73% to 85%.
NTSK LLC is set to replace 39 sections of heating networks this year, extending over 17 kilometers. As part of concession agreements between the city administration and the company, 11 of these sections, totaling 3.7 kilometers, will be laid, costing 460.9 million rubles.
