The Novosibirsk region is bracing for severe weather this weekend, July 19th and 20th, with forecasts predicting heavy rain and hail. The Hydrometeorological Center of Russia issued the warning, indicating the potential for hazardous conditions across the region.

In addition to hail, the forecast includes heavy rain, showers, and thunderstorms. Wind gusts of up to 23 meters per second are also expected, further increasing the risk of damage and disruption.

The inclement weather is not isolated to the Novosibirsk region. Similar conditions are anticipated in other areas of Siberia, including the Tomsk and Kemerovo regions, as well as the Altai Territory and Khakassia. Residents in these regions should also prepare for the possibility of heavy rain, hail, and strong winds.
