Gosha Kutsenko presented his “Words to Music” program to residents of the Zabaykalsky region as part of the International Film Festival. The event, which included film screenings, performances, and a concert, marked the second day of the ZMFF-2025.
The festival featured film screenings starting at 10 a.m., including “Lenin. Inevitability” and “Legends of Memory. Prayer of the First Stone”.
A creative meeting with artists such as Georgy Martirosyan, Agata Mutsenietse, Georgy Peradze, Vyacheslav Makarov, Dmitry Pavlenko, Natalya Seliverstova, and jazz singer Margarita Kolotilina took place in the district house of culture. The artists visited the local church and discussed cinema with the priest who expressed his hope that good would continue to triumph over evil in films.
In Ulety, the film festival sparked a discussion about the end of the world based on cinematic themes. Agata Mutsenietse shared her experiences entering the Moscow VGIK and studying with Alexander Mikhailov.
The evening culminated in Gosha Kutsenko’s concert at the House of Officers, where he performed his original songs and music from films and TV series. He also performed duets with Yulia Pak, a finalist from “The Voice,” whom he brought to Transbaikalia for the concert. Kutsenko described his “Words to Music” program as a blend of poetry, stand-up, lyrical songs, and audience interaction. He plans to return to the festival next year as a jury member and bring his daughters with him.
