Four drones were shot down by air defense forces in the Moscow region on Friday, June 6th, leading to temporary closures of airports in the city.

The first drone was intercepted around 5:40 PM as it approached Moscow.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that air defense systems downed a total of three drones shortly after the initial incident.

In total, four UAVs attempted to attack the capital region.
