A five-year-old girl was hospitalized with a head injury after an object fell on her near a residence on Moskovskoye Shosse (Moscow Highway) in St. Petersburg. The incident is under investigation by law enforcement.

The girl, born in 2020, was admitted to a local hospital on May 31st with what authorities described as a superficial head injury. After being examined by doctors, she was released home in satisfactory condition.

Initial reports indicate that the injury may have been caused by a chest of drawers thrown from a balcony at her place of residence. The incident reportedly occurred while the girl was with her grandmother at 244 Moskovskoye Shosse. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
