A fishing vessel in Vladivostok caught fire, resulting in one fatality and the rescue of 24 people. The incident occurred at a pier in Zolotoy Rog Bay.

The fire engulfed 200 square meters of the ship, prompting a significant response from emergency services.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS Rossii) reported that 17 pieces of equipment and 70 personnel are involved in extinguishing the fire, which has now been localized. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

In related news, on June 8th, a large fire broke out in warehouses containing combustible material in the Moscow region.

The fire spread over 21,000 square kilometers, with explosions heard from the scene. The roof collapsed on 13,000 square meters, and the fire spread to a neighboring building. Local residents assisted rescuers by providing drinking water.

Prior to this, a large solid waste landfill in Yekaterinburg burned for two days. Five bulldozers and seven dump trucks were used in addition to rescuers to manage the situation.
