A large fire broke out in Yanino, near St. Petersburg, on the afternoon of June 2nd, causing concern among residents across the city. The blaze is centered on Shosseynaya Street, where the Pigment enterprise, a manufacturer of specialized varnishes and paints for shipbuilding, is located.

The area affected by the fire is currently under investigation. Dmitry Smirnov, the Vsevolozhsk city prosecutor, is present at the scene.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing the fire and smoke from various districts of St. Petersburg. The origin of the fire is still being investigated. Attempts to reach representatives of the Pigment enterprise and local authorities in Yanino for comment have been unsuccessful.
