A fire erupted at a construction site in Moscow’s Vorobyovy Gory (Sparrow Hills) area on the morning of June 30th, prompting a response from emergency services. The Moscow Emergency Situations Ministry reported that the incident occurred on Kosygina Street, where wooden scaffolding caught fire.
Twenty-three firefighters and seven pieces of special equipment were deployed to extinguish the blaze. Authorities confirmed that there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
The fire was successfully extinguished by 12 noon. Reports indicate that the construction site is intended for a ski resort, with plans for completion by the end of the year.
