Two people were injured in an apartment fire in St. Petersburg’s Primorsky district on Monday evening.
The fire broke out at 7:53 PM in a three-room apartment located at 3 Lva Matsievicha Square. The blaze, which affected 10 square meters of the apartment’s corridor, prompted a response from emergency services.
Fifteen firefighters and three pieces of special equipment were deployed to the scene. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire by 8:34 PM.
A man and a woman were hospitalized as a result of the fire. Information regarding their current condition has not been released.
