A fire erupted in the elevator shaft of the “T4” business center, located on Sedova Street in St. Petersburg’s Nevsky district, but was quickly extinguished by firefighters.

The St. Petersburg Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the fire was successfully put out within 20 minutes on June 4. The incident was reported to emergency services at 14:16, prompting the dispatch of 15 rescuers and three vehicles to the scene.

Eyewitnesses reported that employees of the “T4” business center responded swiftly, immediately unlocking all doors and organizing the evacuation of people inside the building.

The fire encompassed an area of three square meters within the elevator shaft. Firefighters had successfully extinguished the fire by 14:32.
