A fire broke out in a four-room apartment on Serpukhovskaya Street, building 7, in St. Petersburg’s Admiralteysky district, resulting in one person being injured and requiring hospitalization. The St. Petersburg Ministry of Emergency Situations reported the incident on the evening of May 30.

Firefighters responding to the scene found furnishings ablaze within the apartment, covering an area of 25 square meters.

A total of 21 firefighters and 5 pieces of equipment were deployed to combat the fire.

The fire was successfully extinguished by 19:38.

The fire was classified as rank 1-BIS.
