A fire broke out near the Botanical Garden in Yekaterinburg on the evening of June 12th. According to eyewitness reports, the incident occurred on Moskovskaya Street involving a private house.
Prior to the fire, a local resident reported hearing unusual noises near the affected property. “Someone was rustling behind the fence before the fire,” the resident told E1.RU.
Eyewitnesses have shared footage capturing the scene of the incident.
Authorities have been contacted for further details regarding the fire. The Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Sverdlovsk region has been requested to provide official information about the event.
This incident follows a recent case in the Zarechny neighborhood where a resident intentionally ignited poplar fluff, resulting in a significant fire that damaged eight vehicles. The arsonist, identified as a 29-year-old metal worker named Nikolai, admitted to starting the fire after consuming beer throughout the day. He stated that he decided to set fire to the poplar fluff despite being near several parked cars.
