A fire at the “Russian Product” factory on Permskaya Street in eastern Moscow has resulted in two fatalities. The blaze, which broke out on the third floor, consumed an area of 30 square meters, igniting equipment and personal belongings.
Emergency responders rescued 33 individuals from the upper floors of the building. The swift evacuation efforts were crucial in preventing further casualties.
The fire was extinguished by a team of 20 specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, utilizing seven pieces of equipment. Their prompt action contained the fire and prevented it from spreading further.
The Moscow Prosecutor’s Office is now overseeing the investigation into the cause of the fire. A fire-technical examination will be conducted to determine the exact circumstances that led to the incident. Law enforcement officers are currently on-site gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
