Novosibirsk boasts seven operating Ferris wheels spread across its districts, each offering unique views and experiences. From the tallest wheel in the city on Mikhailovskaya Embankment to the “most veteran” attraction in “By the Ob Sea” Park, there’s a Ferris wheel for everyone.
The tallest Ferris wheel in Novosibirsk is located on Mikhailovskaya Embankment, reaching a height of 67 meters. This wheel, installed in 2019, is owned by the “Krug” company and offers panoramic views of all Novosibirsk bridges. A combined ticket to the “House with a Wheel,” including a visit to the exhibition hall, costs 500 rubles. However, a single circle on weekdays before 6:00 PM costs 350 rubles (300 rubles for beneficiaries), while a second circle is cheaper. After 6:00 PM and on weekends/holidays, the price increases to 400/350 rubles, with the second circle costing 350/300 rubles. Children under 1.05 meters tall can ride for free.
Other Ferris wheels in Novosibirsk include the one in the Shilo Novosibirsk Zoo (26 meters), Pervomaisky Park of Culture and Recreation (27.5 meters), Berezovaya Roshcha Park of Culture and Recreation (26 meters), Kirov Park of Culture and Recreation (26 meters), “By the Ob Sea” Park of Culture and Recreation (22 meters), and Zatulinsky Park of Culture and Recreation (27.5 meters). The oldest wheel is located in “By the Ob Sea” Park, manufactured in 1970. Entrance fees and ticket prices vary across these parks, with discounts often available for children, beneficiaries, and large families.
Notably, two Ferris wheels that previously existed in the Central Park of Culture and Recreation and near the planetarium have been removed. While the wheel near the planetarium is not planned to return, the possibility of reinstating the Ferris wheel in Central Park is currently under consideration.
