A 22-year-old woman died in a hospital following a car crash on the K-19R highway “Novosibirsk – Leninsk-Kuznetsky” in the Novosibirsk region on the evening of July 29th. The accident also resulted in injuries to three other people.
The State Traffic Inspectorate for the Novosibirsk region reported that the incident occurred at approximately 9:10 PM. The woman, driving a Toyota Vitz, reportedly lost control of her vehicle at the 30th kilometer of the highway and entered oncoming traffic. There, it collided with an Opel Astra.
The driver of the Opel Astra, a 33-year-old man, along with his two passengers, a 43-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, sustained injuries and were transported to a medical facility. The 22-year-old woman driving the Toyota Vitz was also hospitalized.
The young woman died at 2:25 AM on July 30th at City Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Novosibirsk.
Authorities are conducting a preliminary investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.
