Kamensk-Uralsky has bid farewell to Nikolai Pyanov, a 46-year-old soldier who died in the special military operation zone. The ceremony took place on the morning of June 6th in the Church of the Intercession of the Mother of God, followed by burial at the Ivanovo cemetery.

Pyanov, a lifelong resident of the city, had a history of military service. After graduating from technical school and serving in the army, he also participated in military operations in the North Caucasus.

Following his return home, he worked at local businesses. In the fall of 2024, he signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense.

Pyanov died heroically in May 2025 during the special military operation. The city administration stated that he is being posthumously nominated for the Order of Courage for the courage, bravery, and honor he displayed.
