The closure of Kastrinskaya Street in Chita, at the intersection of Lenin and Bogomyagkova streets, has been extended until June 6. This extension was announced by “Vodokanal-Chita JSC” on their Telegram channel.

Originally, the street section was scheduled to reopen on May 30, following its initial closure on May 12. The ongoing work pertains to the city’s sewerage network.

As of the time of reporting, an immediate explanation for the extended closure has not been provided.

In related news, the passage from Leningradskaya Street to Matveeva Street in Chita will be closed from May 12 to June 15. This closure is to facilitate the installation of external water and sewerage networks for the construction of the Dynamo sports complex. Pedestrian access will remain open. Vehicle traffic will be restricted during this period.
