Kittens at the Novosibirsk Zoo were filmed playing on a Christmas tree in their enclosure. The footage, showing the young European wildcats exploring the tree, was shared on social media by a zoo visitor.

One kitten was seen clinging to a branch, resisting attempts by an adult to bring it down. Eventually, more kittens joined, playfully exploring the tree.

The zoo’s Telegram channel notes that European wildcats are close relatives of domestic cats. The Novosibirsk Zoo has housed these animals since 1981 and successfully bred them since 1982, raising over 60 kittens.
