European Burmese kittens are currently being offered for sale in Novosibirsk, Russia, via an advertisement on Avito. The price varies depending on the kitten’s sex, with males listed at 25,000 rubles and females at 45,000 rubles.
The kittens, born on February 21st and May 25th, come with a veterinary passport indicating they have received two vaccinations and a club metric. The seller specifies that they are being sold as pets and are not sterilized.
Yulia, the owner of the European Burmese kennel, said the kittens are “cheerful and affectionate”.
The advertisement emphasizes that the photos accurately depict the kittens available for purchase and that they were recently professionally photographed. The kennel owner has reportedly been working with the breed for 14 years.
According to Yulia, the price difference reflects a reduced demand for male kittens during the summer months. She also mentioned that they have a combined diet of dry and natural food. The male kitten (pictured without beads) is being offered at a discounted price because of this decreased demand.
In related news, a Burmese kitten was previously offered for sale in Novosibirsk for 230,000 rubles, with the price expected to increase as the pet ages.
