An electro-gas welder died at his workplace in Novosibirsk on June 3rd at 16:35. The incident occurred at a production base in the Dzerzhinsky district, according to the regional State Labor Inspectorate.

While on the territory of the mechanical workshops, the welder lost consciousness and fell. Paramedics arrived and attempted resuscitation, but were unable to save him.

The State Labor Inspectorate is currently investigating the accident. If violations of labor laws are discovered, those responsible will face administrative liability.

Separately, another incident occurred in the Zayeltsovsky district of Novosibirsk, where a stone worker died at a construction site after a metal tank of mortar fell on him. An NGS correspondent has requested an official comment from the company regarding the welder’s death.
