Elderly Woman Vandalizes Car in Yekaterinburg

An elderly woman was filmed vandalizing a car on Amundsen Street in Yekaterinburg on June 12th. The woman was seen scratching and hitting the vehicle.

The incident occurred on Amundsen Street, where witnesses observed the woman’s actions. The motive behind the vandalism remains unclear.

Eyewitnesses reported that the woman appeared to be acting “in a fit of emotion and anger.” One witness inquired about her behavior, but the specifics of their conversation were inaudible, though the woman mentioned something about “a few weeks.” Speculation suggests her actions may have been triggered by the car’s parking location.

This incident is reminiscent of a previous case in Yekaterinburg involving a woman known as “Grandmother-Scratcher.” This woman disliked the prevalence of cars in the city and took to kicking doors and breaking windows. She damaged six cars with a nail before being caught on video.

This is not the first report of car vandalism in the Urals region. Previously, it was reported that a woman damaged two cars within a minute. Other incidents involving women in Yekaterinburg include a conflict over escalator space, where one woman allegedly hit another in the face after being denied passage.
