A fatal collision occurred on the road between Mina and Novinka, resulting in the death of an elderly cyclist after being struck by a Lada Largus. The incident is currently under investigation by the Gatchina district police.

The accident took place on the evening of June 11, approximately three kilometers from the village of Mina. A 47-year-old driver hit a 65-70 year old man who was riding his bicycle in the same direction.

The cyclist died at the scene as a result of his injuries. Authorities are working to identify the victim.

This incident follows a separate accident in St. Petersburg’s Nevsky district, where a cyclist was killed after being run over by a truck.
