An elderly couple has died in a fire that completely destroyed their three-story home in the SNT “Doni” in the Pushkin district. The fire, which took an hour to extinguish, is currently under investigation.

Mikhail Kulyako, chairman of the partnership, reported the tragic incident, stating that the cause is currently suspected to be faulty electrical wiring. He also mentioned the presence of a stove with a chimney in the house, but neighbors indicated it was never used. The exact cause of the fire remains undetermined.

Kulyako expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing the couple as active and helpful members of the community who had resided in the house since the SNT’s foundation. Investigators are currently at the scene. Photos depict the extensive damage, showing the house largely burned down.
