Ekaterinburg to Host Numerous Cultural Events and Festivals in Early August

Ekaterinburg and its surrounding areas are set to host over 15 cultural events during the first weekend of August. These events include festivals, live music, dance parties, and more, providing a wide array of options for residents and visitors.

The T2 SPOT, a new summer space operating near the Cosmos Concert Hall until August 24, will offer bright entertainment daily. The space, presented by mobile operator T2, will feature live music, dance parties, and an open-air cinema.

On Friday, August 1, the T2 SPOT will host a family movie screening at 16:00, followed by a live music concert at 19:00 featuring Yana Antipenko, a vocalist who has participated in Eurovision, “Come On, All Together!”, and “LAB with Anton Belyaev.” A dance master class with teachers from MaxDance studio will conclude the evening at 20:00.

Saturday at T2 SPOT will begin with film screenings at 13:00. At 15:00, guests can attend English-language speeches in the style of TED. The musical group “Goji” will perform at 18:30, and a dance party with MaxDance studio teachers will follow.

Sunday at T2 SPOT will include family movie screenings from 13:00 and an evening of live music at 17:00 with pop pianist Georgy Margalitashvili. A Dance Battle will take place at 18:00, showcasing various dance styles.

Admission to all events at T2 SPOT is free. The full program is available on the website, and the schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions.

Other notable events in the Ekaterinburg area include the “Three Bushes Fest” at the “Verkh-Isetsky” cultural center, the “Fluffy Fest” in Uktus, and a home game for the Ural football team at the Ekaterinburg Arena on Saturday. Out-of-town options include the “Sysertskaya Hundred” bike ride, the “Not an Empty Place” festival in Kamyshevo, the “In the Middle of Nowhere” art festival, and the “Znamenka” student team song festival. Beer enthusiasts can attend UralCraftFest, featuring 30 breweries and cideries from across the country.

Additionally, Yulia Peresild will perform in Ekaterinburg with her band MANDRAGORA.
