However, the relationship did not last, and she later married a childhood sweetheart who was imprisoned.

After her divorce, Ekaterina met Dmitry, who was incarcerated, and they eventually married in a prison ceremony. She regularly visited him, and they lived together after his release. Unfortunately, Dmitry struggled with addiction, which ultimately led to their separation and his tragic death.

Following Dmitry’s death, Ekaterina reconnected with another prisoner, Denis, and they eventually married after his release. However, their relationship was fraught with challenges, including distance and conflicting personalities, leading to their divorce. Denis later violated the terms of his correctional labor and disappeared.

Skuratova believes that women are drawn to prison romances for various reasons, including a lack of time for traditional dating, a desire to rescue others, low self-esteem, and a reluctance to share personal space. She emphasized the existence of a large community of women who wait for their incarcerated loved ones and provide each other with support.

Currently, Ekaterina is focused on building a new life for herself, free from relationships with prisoners. She has undergone a significant transformation, losing weight and changing her social circle. She is now open to meeting ambitious men and experiencing genuine connections outside the prison walls.
