Dusi Kovalchuk Street to be Connected to Galushchaka Street

A new road connecting Dusi Kovalchuk Street and Galushchaka Street in Novosibirsk is planned to be constructed in two phases, with completion expected by 2030. The project involves extending Dachnaya Street to connect the two major thoroughfares behind the Royal Park shopping center.

The first phase of the project is scheduled for completion by 2027. The total length of the new road will be 367.8 meters and will feature two lanes, with a speed limit of 40 km/h.

The city administration has announced public hearings on the project, which will be held from June 9 to July 7, with a meeting of participants scheduled for June 24. The design of the road considers existing entrances to nearby residential complexes, including Berkut House, Uyut, and the Time Square development.

In 2024, the mayor’s office stated that project documentation was being developed, with completion initially planned for the first quarter of this year. The connection will be made via Dachnaya Street, according to mapping services.

The city is also planning to expand a section of Kavaleriskaya Street and connect it with Ippodromskaya highway.
