A 43-year-old resident of Boksitogorsk has been arrested after authorities discovered a drug plantation in his apartment and at a summer cottage plot. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region announced the arrest on June 1st.
During a search of the man’s properties, law enforcement officers uncovered 23 bushes of a narcotic plant, approximately 160 grams of processed narcotics, and 17 pills.
The conditions in which the plants were grown were far from sterile. The setting included garbage, tubs and furniture.
