Drones targeted Tatarstan, with residents in Nizhnekamsk and Yelabuga reporting explosions. The Begishevo airport implemented its “Cover” plan, suspending all aircraft operations.
Radmir Belyaev, the mayor of Nizhnekamsk, confirmed the attack, stating that air defense systems were active over the city. He assured residents that there were no casualties or destruction, and that industrial processes remained uninterrupted.
Eyewitnesses captured footage of drones flying near residential areas and detonating in the sky.
If you spot a drone, immediately call 112 and provide your name, the drone’s location, a description of the drone (whether it’s hovering or moving, its shape, and any lights), and any sounds it’s making.
After reporting, leave the area and warn others. If you find a drone on the ground, do not approach or touch it; instead, call 112 to report its location.
