Murmansk Oblast Governor Andrey Chibis reported a drone attack in the region on June 1st. According to a Telegram post by the governor, air defense systems, law enforcement, and emergency services are currently responding to the incident.

Chibis urged residents not to share photos or videos of military equipment involved in the operation online.

Prior to this, Irkutsk region Governor Igor Kobzev reported a drone attack on a military unit within his region. This marked the first instance of a UAV attack in Siberia. Kobzev indicated that the drones were launched from a truck.
