A military unit in the village of Sredny, located in the Irkutsk region of Siberia, was attacked by drones. This marks the first such incident in the region, according to Governor Ivan Kobzev.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident that occurred in the Usolsky district. The source from which the drones were launched has been located and blocked.

According to initial reports, one of the drones dropped its payload on an old building in Novomaltinsk. The exact number of drones involved in the attack is still being determined.

All operational and law enforcement services are on-site working to assess the situation. Governor Kobzev has assured residents that there is no immediate danger to their lives or health and has urged them to remain calm.
