A drone attack targeted the Tula region, resulting in a fire at the “Azot” plant and injuries to two people. According to the region’s governor, Dmitry Milyaev, air defense systems successfully intercepted multiple aerial targets.
The attack caused a fire at the “Azot” plant, a significant chemical enterprise producing nitrogen fertilizers and ammonia in Novomoskovsk. The fire has since been extinguished, and authorities have confirmed that there were no dangerous levels of pollution recorded in the area.
Two individuals sustained injuries during the incident, but their lives are not at risk.
In response to the drone activity, temporary restrictions were put in place at the Kaluga airport, affecting both incoming and outgoing flights. Rosaviatsiya confirmed the implementation of these measures.
Authorities are urging citizens to take specific actions if they spot a drone. The primary step is to immediately contact emergency services by dialing 112.
When reporting a drone sighting, individuals should provide their full name and the exact location where the drone was observed. The report should also include a detailed description of the drone, including whether it is hovering or flying, its shape, and any flashing lights.
It is also crucial to note any sounds emitted by the drone, such as buzzing or sounds resembling a lawnmower or moped. After reporting the sighting, individuals should immediately leave the area and, if possible, warn others nearby.
If a drone is found on the ground, it is imperative not to approach or touch it. Instead, individuals should immediately call 112 to report the discovery.
