A drone attack in Belgorod on July 30th damaged an apartment building and numerous vehicles. The incident resulted in damage to the facade and windows of several apartments, as well as damage to 24 cars from shrapnel.
Authorities have reported no casualties from the attack. Emergency services are currently on the scene assessing the damage and providing assistance.
Vyacheslav Gladkov, the Governor of the Belgorod region, stated that he visited the site and spoke with residents about next steps. The city administration has already begun the process of documenting the damage to individual apartments.
Valentin Demidov, the Mayor of Belgorod, also confirmed the attack and the ongoing response efforts.
This incident follows a recent increase in UAV attacks in the region. Just the day before, 11 civilians were injured in similar attacks. In July alone, 139 people, including 12 children, have been injured as a result of these attacks.
