The third stage of the RDS Open Drift Championship took place this weekend at Moscow Raceway in the Moscow region. Dozens of participants competed for the top spot.

The RDS Open stage was held at Moscow Raceway for the first time. Despite challenging weather conditions, the participants demonstrated impressive skills.

Georgy Bibaev from Moscow won the “PRO” personal standings. Sergey Korneev from Yekaterinburg secured second place. Yegor Gubin, also from Moscow, finished in third place.

In the “NXT” individual standings, for novice pilots, Timofey Dobrovolsky, STAR PЁR STARS AIMOL (Moscow), took first place. Artur Zeleny, STAR PЁR STARS AIMOL (Moscow), claimed second place, and Vladimir Afanasyev, Tamashi Culture of Drift (St. Petersburg), achieved third place.

The morning heats were initially held on a dry track. However, the weather conditions deteriorated significantly by noon, with heavy rain and strong winds making it difficult for the drivers. Many participants went off track due to the conditions.

The RDS Open serves as a platform for emerging talents, allowing them to compete against experienced RDS GP drivers.
