A 21-year-old drifter was apprehended in Toguchin after a video surfaced showing him causing a car to swerve erratically on the road, generating dissatisfaction among other drivers. The incident occurred on June 8th, prompting intervention by traffic police.
Following his apprehension, authorities issued multiple administrative violation reports against the individual.
In a video apology, the man admitted to repeatedly violating traffic regulations. “I systematically violated traffic rules. I apologize to all participants. I will not violate them like this again,” he stated.
The driver faces a 500 ruble fine for operating a vehicle with window tint that violates technical regulations regarding light transmission, as per Part 3.1 of Article 12.5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
Additionally, he may be subject to a fine ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 rubles for non-compliance with mandatory civil liability insurance requirements, as outlined in Part 3 of Article 12.37 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
This incident follows a previous event in April, where a drifter was caught doing donuts at the intersection of Krasny Prospekt, resulting in a video of what has been called instant karma when a traffic police car appeared.
