In Serov, doctors and firefighters rescued a one-year-old baby who was trapped in a car on a day when temperatures reached 30 degrees Celsius. The incident occurred after the mother inadvertently locked the child inside the vehicle and was unable to reopen the door herself, prompting her to call emergency services.

The car’s interior temperature rapidly soared to 50 degrees Celsius, creating a dangerous environment for the infant.

Rescuers faced a delay as the mother initially hesitated to allow them to break the car window. While attempts were made to open the door, medical personnel worked to distract the frightened child, and firefighters hosed down the vehicle with water to lower its temperature.

Due to the escalating risk to the baby’s well-being, doctors urged immediate action. Firefighters then broke the car window and safely extracted the child.

A similar event happened in Yekaterinburg when the owner of a Land Cruiser left his sons locked inside a car during hot weather. The boys were found in a semi-conscious state.
