Dimitrovsky Bridge Lane Repair Commences, Completion Expected by June 2027

Repair work has begun on the first lane of the Dimitrovsky Bridge in Novosibirsk, with an anticipated completion date of June 1, 2027. The project, overseen by the Department of Road Improvement Complex of the Mayor’s Office, involves a comprehensive overhaul of the bridge’s infrastructure.

The initial phase focuses on the far right lane, specifically the one leading towards the left bank. Currently, workers are milling the asphalt concrete pavement to remove the top layers of the roadway. Following this, a new road surface will be installed.

To manage traffic flow during the repairs, a reversible lane was implemented on June 9. This central lane operates with a traffic pattern that shifts depending on the time of day. From 11:00 PM to 3:00 PM, traffic flows towards the right bank. Conversely, from 3:01 PM to 10:59 PM, the flow is directed towards the left bank. According to reports, the reversible lane has been effective in mitigating major traffic congestion on the bridge.

The contractor, “Avtodorremont Tekno,” established in 2006, is tasked with a range of repairs over the next two years. These include replacing the roadway and waterproofing, as well as repairing expansion joints and fences. Lanes will be closed alternately to facilitate these operations.

“Avtodorremont Tekno” reported a revenue of 1.2 billion rubles and a net profit of 172.8 million rubles at the end of 2024. Ilya Nikitin is listed as the founder and director of the company.
