Dimitrovsky Bridge in Novosibirsk to Undergo Repairs with Reversible Lane Implementation

A reversible lane is planned for the Dimitrovsky Bridge in Novosibirsk as part of extensive repair work set to last until December 31, 2027. The project will involve lane closures and the deployment of dozens of workers.

The traffic management scheme, which includes the reversible lane, is being coordinated with the contractor. The far right lane leading towards the left bank will be the first to close for repairs, with a preliminary closure date of June 10. Lane closures will occur intermittently throughout the project.

Since May 30, asphalt replacement has been underway to maintain traffic flow during the repairs. Prior to this, on May 18, the contractor, “Avtodorremont Tekhnо,” began dismantling asphalt on the right sidewalk towards the left bank.

“Avtodorremont Tekhnо” will be responsible for the bridge repairs. The company was founded in 2006, with Ilya Nikitin as the founder and director. In 2024, the company reported revenue of 1.2 billion rubles and a net profit of 172.8 million rubles.

Preparatory measures, including the development and approval of technical documentation, are currently in progress. The contractor is also establishing a construction site, preparing equipment, and procuring necessary materials.

At least 30 workers and specialized equipment will be involved in the repair work.
