Details Emerge Regarding Kidnapping and Assault Case in Yekaterinburg

All participants involved in the kidnapping and assault of a Yekaterinburg resident have been identified and were initially detained before being placed under house arrest. The incident, which occurred last fall, involved the abduction of a man who was then taken to a basement where he was abused.

The victim was allegedly targeted due to his refusal to repay a debt. As a result of the incident, the victim’s car was seized.

Sergey S., 24, is identified as the youngest member of the group. Described as a hockey fan, Sergey reportedly served in the military and initially sought legitimate employment. Financial difficulties and microloans allegedly led him to join the group, where he was tasked with resolving issues with debtors.

Alexander A., 26, is another participant in the assault. He had previously resided in Chelyabinsk, accumulating debts before moving to Yekaterinburg. He became involved in paganism and engaged in extortion as part of the group. He faces additional charges related to extorting money from a victim in the Chkalovsky district.

Alexander Z., 38, is believed to be the mastermind behind the group and the extortion scheme. He owned several high-end cars and previously ran a business involving network marketing. After closing his business, he became involved in extortion.

In addition to charges of sexual assault, all three individuals face charges including kidnapping, extortion, illegal possession of a vehicle, and illegal trafficking of special means for covertly obtaining information. If convicted, the participants could face up to 12 years in prison.
