Since the beginning of the year, authorities in the Novosibirsk region have destroyed 451 tons of fruits and vegetables. The regional Rosselkhoznadzor reported that these products were found to contain pesticides and pests.
Specifically, a significant portion of the destroyed goods consisted of 432 tons of tomatoes across 42 batches and 19 tons of grapes.
The service indicated that the largest of these batches, exceeding 17 tons of tomatoes, were destroyed between February and March.
