The dismantling of the railway bridge in the area of Mashinistov and Strelachnikov streets in Yekaterinburg is underway, a process expected to last four days. The road closure, necessary for the safety of the workers, is in effect from June 13 to 16, impacting the section from Strelachnikov Street to Kimovskaya Street.
Two excavators are currently being used to dismantle the old overpass. A barrier line has been established to separate and secure access to the work site.
The mayor’s office had previously issued a warning about the road closure due to the demolition. The demolition is required to make way for a new tram line that will soon be constructed in the area.
