Two apartment buildings in Novosibirsk, deemed emergency housing, are slated for demolition. The Novosibirsk “City Housing Agency” has allocated over 19.4 million rubles for the project.
The buildings, located at No. 8 and 10 on Parkhomenko Street, 1st lane in the Leninsky district, were constructed in 1932. The demolition aims to prevent emergencies related to potential harm to human life.
The procurement notice, published on June 5, specifies that the contractor must complete the work within 32 working days of the contract’s conclusion, with the possibility of early completion. The contractor will be responsible for dismantling the buildings using the collapse method, removing debris, and leveling the area. They will also be required to fill trenches and pits.
Applications to participate in the purchase are open until June 16, and the contractor is expected to be selected on June 17. The buildings were determined to be physically worn out with damaged load-bearing structural elements.
