A 15-year-old boy was found dead near a high-rise building on Kolomyazhsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg’s Primorsky district.

The incident occurred the previous night around 10 PM, prompting a call to emergency services. Upon arrival, medics declared the teenager deceased at the scene.

Police identified the deceased as a ninth-grader who resided in the same district, but at a different address.

Reportedly, surveillance footage shows the boy entering a shared balcony on the 22nd floor of the residential complex.

A phone discovered on the teenager contained unsent messages to his parents expressing love and asking for forgiveness.

The Investigative Committee is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the boy’s death.
