A dashcam recorded a high-speed chase in Kamensk-Uralsky, Sverdlovsk Region, capturing numerous traffic violations by a motorcyclist. The video, released by the State Traffic Inspectorate, clarifies that the motorcyclist, not the police, caused the accident that ended the pursuit.
The footage contradicts claims that police officers intentionally struck the mini-motorcycle. The recording clearly shows the rider losing control of the vehicle and falling to the ground.
During the chase, the motorcyclist repeatedly violated traffic laws. These infractions included running red lights, driving in the oncoming lane, ignoring “No Entry” signs, and creating hazardous situations for other drivers and pedestrians.
The driver, a 20-year-old man, was apprehended. Authorities discovered that he did not possess a valid motorcycle license. His category “B” driver’s license had previously been revoked due to a drunk driving offense.
