Railway traffic has been temporarily suspended in the Unecha-Zhecha section of the Bryansk region following the discovery of damage to a railway track. The incident was reported on June 1 by the Moscow Railway press service.

The damage was detected during a scheduled infrastructure inspection at 10:52 AM on June 1. Special equipment was used to identify the problem. There were no reported injuries.

This marks the third railway incident in Russian regions within the past two days. On the evening of May 31, structures destroyed by an explosion collapsed onto a passenger train traveling on the Klimovo-Moscow route in the Vygonichi area. That incident resulted in seven fatalities and numerous injuries.

A similar event occurred a few hours later in the neighboring Kursk region, where a bridge collapsed under a train after an explosion. The Investigative Committee has classified both prior incidents as terrorist acts.
