The Investigative Committee has launched criminal investigations into the alleged involvement of minors in antisocial behavior and rape following the rescue of two intoxicated girls from an apartment in St. Petersburg. The cases, initiated under Article 151 (involving minors in antisocial activities) and Article 131 (rape) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, stem from an incident on Stoikosti Street.
On the evening of July 13, police discovered two girls, aged 16 and 17, in a state of alcoholic intoxication inside an apartment. A 42-year-old man was also present in the apartment.
According to the Investigative Committee, the tenant is accused of committing sexual acts against the girls. He has been detained, and authorities are preparing to file charges.
Investigators intend to request the court to impose a preventive measure on the suspect. The incident came to light after an acquaintance of the victims reported the situation to the police.
